Short Post...
Long weekend ahead after a long weekend... it'll be fun, but in the meantime, I'm sitting here reading information on setting up a Remote Service Installation (RIS) server on Windows 2003 so that we can get rid of Ghost 9 because it sucks.

Nextly...
I have Ubuntu booting up on my laptop after adding the "NoAccel" "True" option...it's just slow...thats what I have to fix this weekend.

Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1
The IE 7 beta looks rather entertaining...Other than crashing my system the first time I installed it, I cant complain. It's a beta, so I expected problems. After the first re-ghosting of my desktop at work, I rebooted to try installing it again and all is perfect :) Give it a shot if your not afraid of possibly crashing your system. As of tonight, my 'friend' should have a copy of Windows Vista Beta 1 that he was downloading via a torrent file this morning.

Hack Of The Day: Buddy Profile...
A friend of mine has found a nice little way to get into any of your friends buddy profiles with the help of cookies and some nifty little URL lines :) Check it out here:

WPA2 Encryption...
A quote from Wi-fiplanet.com:
WPA2 is essentially the Alliance's name for the 802.11i specification, which was ratified by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (define) this past June. The Alliance states in its online WPA2 Q&A document that WPA2 is "not being released to address any flaws in WPA," and that "WPA remains secure."

Diggnation...
You have got to check this out... I have been a digg.com user for the longest time and I love the site and it wasn't until today that I had sat down and watched Diggnation. I watched the Episode 4 Podcast (released yesterday) and I'm highly impressed. I'm also happy to see Alex Albrecht back on something again instead of just lost in space. Go download it guys, very awesome show and be sure to vote for them on iTunes.

BrokenBinary...
The site has been hacked...we currently know the forums are down and we are in the progress of moving servers along with putting up a new design. I hope to have the site up and running again as soon as possible so we can finally get some underground news coming to all you guys :)

Two Thumbs Up...
Steven Johnson; I thank you for taking a stab at Hillary Clinton and the rest of the anti-gaming community with your wonderful article.

Laptop...
HP makes a wonderful laptop; the zv6000 with the 64bit processor. The only problem is that Linux barely runs on it at the moment without some serious tweaking. so my next couple of nights are going to be spent trying to get either Ubuntu and/or Gentoo installed on this poor laptop :)

Only The Strong Survive...
It's monday, around 1 o'clock and I'm still just sitting here drinking my cup of coffee and working on fixing a couple of computers. It's a slow day that follows a slow weekend filled with nothing more than one big hangover and some other nonsense. Everything still continues to change and I find that my mind wanders in so many different directions all at once that I can barely keep track of myself. It's hard to see so many things from the past and it's hard to be patient enough to wait for the good to come in the future, but I guess thats the way the cookie crumbles.

I know alot of people have this same little laptop as me and they want to get rid of Windows...I spent many hours trying to solve the problems that arise and finally I have found all of my answers on the forum above. They have great how-to guides for Debian, Gentoo, and Fedora Core 4 :)

Jack Thompson...
Click Me
Mr. Jack Thompson feels the need to stop video game violence in our world because we have so many 17 year old murderers out there right? It's genius, get GTA:San Adreas moved from Mature (17+) to Adult Only (18+). I'm sure that all those possible killers and gangsters are going to mature enough between 17 and 18. It's all bull shit and I hope that one of these days he realizes that. Okay, even I'll admit the Hot Coffee hack was pretty bad, but now to attack The Sims 2 (a teen rated game) because some skilled scriptkiddies out there removed the blurs is just insane and a waste of time. Thats just my 2 cents though.

Staind .:: Chapter V ::.
For those of you who don't know, the new Staind CD entitled 'Chapter V' comes out on August 9th so get off your nerdy asses and stop reading my blog and go pre-order it :)

Windows Vista...
As of today, the official name for the new version of Windows is going to be Windows Vista. Can't say that I like it better than the original name 'Longhorn,' but hey, whatever makes Bill Gates happy. Beta 1 is targeted towards IT Technicians and more professional computer users and then the 2nd beta is going to be targeted towards end-users and more of your average day to day computer users.

I guess it's time to start searching for torrent files :)
Things Change and Life Forces You To Change With Them...
Over the past 2 months, alot of changes have occured and everything seemed like it was just falling apart. It's taken me until this past week to realize that my past does not really affect my future and that I have the ability to control what I choose to do and who I choose to be.
I finally have my living arrangements worked out....I pay 400 dollars a month to rent out the basement of a co-workers house. The payment includes all my utilities and all I have to pay on top of that is my car payment, insurance, and phone bill. I miss the simplicity of living at home with parents and not having alot of bills and I miss the Mustang, but I do prefer this new arrangment and I'm happy and I'm finally settled in. All my stuff is unpacked and thrown throughout the room and I'm to lazy to clean it up until a lady friend comes over and then it's a rush to throw all the crap in the closet.

Scopetech & Revision3
I have officially resigned from being a moderator at ScopeTech.com... It's not something I wanted to do, but it's something I had to do because I just didn't have the time to be the moderator that I felt that I should be. I'll still be around the forum posting once and a while and once the revision3 forums are built up more, I'll post on there also, but just not 30-40 posts a day ;)

BrokenBinary.org
Alex and myself are trying to the get site switched to a new server and get the site back up and running at full force so we can get people onto our own site which we can more easily maintain on our own schedules.

Enough rambling on...
I'll get back to posting on the blog now... not more of these emo style posts, but back to what I want to do; tech related news, help, tips, etc :)
